Joe Tartakoff joined paidContent as a staff writer in March 2009.
He was previously the Microsoft beat reporter at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer and author of the P-I’s Microsoft Blog.
He grew up in Shaker Heights, a suburb of Cleveland, and graduated from Harvard College, where he was an executive editor at the Crimson. After college, he wrote at both the P-I and the San Francisco Chronicle as a recipient of a Hearst Fellowship.
He blogs from his apartment in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle, where he lives with his cat Toad and fosters dogs. He is also a regular volunteer at the Ryther Child Center, 826 Seattle and the ROOTS Young Adult Shelter.
