When big boys play, gaming becomes a capital-intensive business. Reliance’s gaming portal Zapak has tied up with bollywood actor Bipasha Basu for a game called “Beach Blaze”. Basu will apparently even conceptualise games and content for Zapak. The company has also launched online TV - Zapak.tv.
Zapak, in fact, plans to tie up with more bollywood stars since they think that will make users come back to the portal again and again.
Zapak’s CEO Rohit Sharma claims that the gaming portal has “has reached 500,000 registrations” since its launch on November 25, 2006.
