VH1 And Nokia To Tap User Generated Content For Pentagram Music Video

For bands, here’s a cost-effective way of making a music video: the video for the song Voice by Mumbai based band Pentagram will feature user submitted videos, reports Indiantelevision. MTV’s Viacom Brand Solution has tied up with Nokia for this initiative, which they’re calling ‘Shot by You’. There will be on ground events, and promos on VH1. Last date is Feb 22nd, and the video will air in March.
Apparently, one has to SMS SHOTBYU to MTV’s short code 6882 for more details. Didn’t work for me. Update: Got a response around 40 minutes after I sent the message. Tch.
