UTV Software Communications seems to be on a gaming binge. The company is reportedly in talks with Bangalore-based Dhruva Interactive for picking up a stake. UTV recently acquired a 51 per cent stake in Indiagames for $15 million and a 70 per cent in the UK-based Ignition Entertainment for $13 million. The Economic Times reports, quoting unnamed sources, that the Mumbai-based entertainment content production house may be in talks with Dhruva, which is looking at raising about $4-5 million for expansion purposes.
Dhruva plans to raise headcount and set up a new studio. The company essentially works in the gaming content outsourcing space.
