Matrix Partners Invests In Stealth Web Start-up 4 Interactive

Matrix Partners India has invested an undisclosed sum in a stealth mode startup 4 Interactive. The company, founded by Kiran Konduri and Shriram Adukoorie, is engaged in “building easy to use services which lie at the intersection of mobile, content and web”, its website says. The company is head-quartered in Bangalore.
Konduri was previously at Microsoft and has founded two companies’ including Zephyr Software, which was acquired by Infospace. Shriram Adukoorie has been with Microsoft for the last decade and was previously country head for MSN India and South Asia. Most recently, he managed Microsoft’s portal in the Asia region.
Rishi Navani, one of the partners of Matrix, has joined the board of the company.
Matrix, which raised a $150 million fund for India, has earlier invested $7 million in online DVD rental company Seventymm.com, and $5.5 million in Yo! China, a Delhi-based Chinese fast food company.
