The Hindu Business Line: Bangalore-based Live Market Watch Solutions has launched the National Stock Exchange (NSE) stock prices on mobile phones. It can be accessed by GPRS-enabled handsets. Users can create a watch list, view the last traded price (LTP) of all scrips, watch details such as buy quantity, buy price, sell quantity, LTP, volume, open, high, low and close and so on. There are two versions - LMW-Pro (Rs 199 a month) which refreshes every second and LMW-Lite (Rs 99 a month) which refreshes every ten seconds. Live Market Watch Solutions is founded by Ganesh Yala.
But the service is not available on Reliance phones.
Editor adds: I am sure Reliance Communications is planning its own application. Reliance is planning a nation-wide broking company which will leverage its telecom networks and the Web World outlets. The launch is round the corner.
