Kingfisher Airlines Ties Up With Dish TV For Live TV In-Flight

Well, we’d reported it first after Tiecon New Delhi 2006, now here’s the official announcement: Kingfisher Airlines has tied up with Dish TV to provide live TV broadcasts as a part of its in-flight entertainment. Kingfisher Airlines’ in-flight entertainment bouquet of channels, called Fun TV, will have 16 live channels. The service will launch end-December or the beginning of 2007, with an eye on the ICC Cricket World Cup. Live TV could just end up being a key differentiator for Kingfisher…that is, until someone else also implements it.
