Israeli Group NDS Eyeing IPTV Acquisitions In India

Reuters: Israel based NDS Group is looking to launch IPTV in India, and is in talks to acquire service providers to acquire, says NDS Chairman and CEO Abe Peled. NDS has a sales and support operation in Mumbai, and an R&D center in Bangalore. News Corp has a majority stake in NDS, and in India NDS provides support for Tata Sky, Hathway Cable and Datacom.
Which part of the IPTV value chain is NDS eyeing? The two service providers that I am aware of are Time Broadband and IOL Broadband. BCCL and Maula Trading have picked up Rs.50mn and Rs.70 mn respectively in IOL Broadband.
