IOL Broadband Now Inks IPTV Deal With Star TV

DNA reports that IOL Broadband signed a deal with Star TV on Wednesday to broadcast channels from the Star TV bouquet on MTNL and BSNL’s IPTV networks.

Now that Star is on board, it remains to be seen if the Zee TV network will sign up too. Rather, I don’t think it’s a question of whether but when since, for Zee as a content provider, the more the distribution channels- the better. Looks like the Star deal took place just before we broke the news to you of Anytime signing up with IOL Broadband for Video on Demand and a gaming channel. Who’s next? Also, nothing so far from Time Broadband, which is the other player in this space alongwith IOL Broadband.
