Indian Express Group Signs Content Deal With The Economist

The Indian Express Group has signed a “wide-ranging content agreement” with The Economist magazine. The deal involves syndication of The Economist content such as Surveys, special branded pages and supplements, by The Indian Express and The Financial Express newspapers and their websites.
It’s not clear how this agreement is different from the other syndication deals The Economist has with, for instance, The Economic Times. I think it’s in scope, for example, Indian Express will have access to surveys and special reports of The Economist.
The Economist is currently distributed in India through the Times Group (BCCL), while Business India does the ad sales. [Via Exchange4Media.com]
