Earnings: CyberMedia’s Topline Grows 25%; Online Business Grew 47%

CyberMedia India Ltd, a leading Indian specialty media house, has announced their first quarter results for the period ending June 30, 2006. Its gross income for the quarter was Rs 19.25 crore, 25 per cent up from Rs 15.45 crore in the same quarter a year ago. Net Profit rose 23 per cent to Rs 1.26 crore from Rs 1.03 crore last year.
The group has some twelve publications in infotech, telecom, consumer electronics and biotech areas, besides websites. Revenues from publishing business increased 13.7 percent to Rs 11.74 crore this quarter, while research business contributed Rs 3.21 crore, up by 20.1 per cent.
Revenue from online business rose 47 per cent to Rs 1.48 crore in this quarter compared to the same quarter last year. The outsourcing website GlobalServicesMedia got 25,000 opt-in subscribers during the first quarter. CyberMedia is promoted by Pradeep Gupta (in the picture). Full story here.
