Delhi-based production house Miditech is venturing into animation production, besides expanding its current content production efforts. The company is said to be in talks with private equity funds to raise Rs 100 crore for bankrolling its expansion plans. That’s a lot of money. But Miditech seems to be needing it. It plans to scale up production facilities in New Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. It also plans to set up an animation studio in Goa. They intend to co-produce or create IPR related animation projects for the international market. More details here.
