BCCL, Maula Trading Invest Rs 120 Million In IOL Broadband; Plans IPTV Launch In Bangalore With BSNL

Bennett Coleman & Co Ltd (BCCL) has picked up a “small stake” in IOL Broadband for Rs 50 million. IOL is the content delivery partner of MTNL’s IPTV services in Mumbai. IOL will make a preferential allotment of 500,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each to BCCL at Rs 100 a share. Maula Trading Company is also investing Rs 70 million in IOL, which will be issued 700,000 warrants. IOL plans to launch IPTV in Bangalore with BSNL. [Via Indiantelevision.com]
