Virgin comics has serialized its comic and graphic novel series including Shekhar Kapur’s Devi, Guy Ritchie’s Gamekeeper and Deepak Chopra’s Beyond amongst others on Rediff. The attempt is to drive sampling based on the first few issues and get users involved in the story arc’s to purchase them offline. The have also launched Widescreen digital editions as well as a mobile comic reader option via m.gocomics.com.

Virgin has also announced webisodes based on the Mahabarata, titled MBX, to be developed by Perspective Studios and written by Grant Morrison. For those that came in late, GM wrote the epoch Invisibles, which inspired the Matrix, and Arkham Asylum, which inspired the Joker’s depiction in Dark Knight.
