The New Indian Express reports that the Bangalore office of business news channel UTVi was attacked on Saturday allegedly by members of an underworld gang. The office was ransacked and a security guard and a driver, who were present, were stabbed.

UTVi is majority owned by UTV Software Communications promoter Ronnie Screwvala. He is also a major Bollywood film producer. A UTV spokesperson declined comment.
