Zaki Ansari, who recently left Rediff.com, has joined UTV New Media as chief product and technology officer (via Medianama). CEO Manish Agarwal confirmed the development. Ansari was VP, product development at Rediff (NSDQ: REDF) and was among the earliest members of the team at the Internet firm.

UTV’s new media division has also hired Subhash Ghosh as VP to head its mobile business. He was senior director for business development, India & APAC at Envio Networks Inc.
