Utility Bills To Enter Cyberspace Soon

People across the country will probably be able to pay their water, electricity and other utility bills online, thanks to the urban development ministry’s project on e-governance in municipalities. [via Economic Times] One can only hope the project is implemented “soon.” Apparently, the national mission on e-governance in urban local bodies will cost Rs 787 crore and will cover 423 cities across the country.
