Paprikaas Animation Studios, a gaming and animation outsourcing company, has received an undisclosed sum of investment from Technicolor Content Services, a Thomson company. Paprikaas produces 3D computer animation for feature films, television programming, commercials, and video games. According to Ahmad Ouri, president of Technicolor Content Services, the partnership with Paprikaas will help the company acquire a larger share of outsourcing in theatrical, broadcast, commercial advertising, animation and video game segments, and leverage cost efficiencies.
