Norwest Venture Partners funded Indian community site Sulekha.com has launched a series called “The Sulekha Book Series”, wherein the site is publishing a book of work from some of their bloggers. They’re going to release two books a month - one will be a single author book, the other a collection of works by bloggers around a particular theme. The first book: Subbu Chronicles - A Series of adventures by BS Keshav. The book is on sale at Indiaplaza.

The book is priced at Rs. 200. There’s nothing on how much of that goes back to the writers, though (Update: says here that the profits will go to the bloggers and Sulekha is not getting any revenue from sales. Also, Meenakshi Reddy Madhavan, got a book deal with Penguin India via her blog - The Compulsive Confessor.
