Online and mobile music company Soundbuzz India Pvt. Ltd. will be launching its dual delivery service – a service allows digital music to be interchangeable across devices— in India in the third quarter of 2007, Mint reports. Soundbuzz Chief Executive Sudhanshu Sarronwala sees Indian customers possibly paying Rs25 per dual-delivery song, a Soundbuzz spokeswoman confirmed for Contentsutra.
Contentsutra had already reported in April that Soundbuzz was planning on launching a digital rights management-free store in India.
It waits to be seen if the penny-pinching Indian consumer will be willing to shell out Rs. 25 per song that Sarronwala expects to charge.
