SingTel’s mioTV adds EROS Movies To Its On Demand Portfolio

We’d written a few days ago about the deal between SingTel’s mio TV and Indian broadcaster NDTV. mio TV has also just announced a content deal with EROS International for subscription on-demand content. EROS Bollywood, launching November 6th, will have a bouquet of 15 movies, with 8 titles refreshed every month. It’s priced at $10.70, below offerings from NBC Universal, 20th Century Fox, Disney-ABC International which are priced at $12.84. Movies include Salaam-E-Ishq, Cheeni Kum, Nishabd, Mother India, Sholay, among others. They’ll be subtitled in English.
