As per the Demo website, QTech has received $2.5 million in venture funding from “California and Hong Kong–based venture groups”. Here’s a CNN story (on YouTube) on the company’s research. According to the report, they’re currently working on sorting out issues related to privacy laws, and how to prevent these recordings from being subpoenaed are still to be worked out.

Nikhil,
Thank you for your interest in QTech’s reQall. Please note that there is an inaccuracy in the post. QTech is not “currently working on sorting out issues related to privacy laws, and how to prevent these recordings from being subpoenaed.” Can you correct this?
Thank you!
The QTech team
