Rajasthan Patrika Launches Hindi Website

The indic language space is the new web 2.0. Rajasthan Patrika, a Hindi daily with a stated readership of 1.25 crore in Rajasthan, has launched a hindi news portal. The site, which has troubles rendering on anything besides IE, has oddly all content in Hindi besides the menu options and the forums, which are in English. They also appear to have a mobile content site on their 56969 shortcode inspired website. Not many ads, besides what seems like an in-house one in the header. Webdunia, the local languages portal from the Naidunia group, had recently announced launching local language ads in 9 languages, these turned out to be vanilla classifieds.
