Nokia-Whistling Woods Mobile Film Contest; Nokia In Talks For Gaming Content

For the launch of the N93i, Nokia has announced a mobile film award in association with filmmaker Subhash Ghai’s institute Whistling Woods. The institute will assemble together a jury to judge mobile films submitted. Films have to be a maximum of 3 minutes long, and may be edited and mailed. More at a release at Moneycontrol.com
Nokia plans to launch handsets for gaming in India within six months, and are currently in talks with content providers for local content, reports the Hindu.
Nokia’s certainly upped the ante of late. They’d earlier tied up with VH1 for a music video using user generated content.
