NEA-IndoUS Ventures Raises $189 Million For Investment In India
NEA IndoUS Ventures Fund has raised $189 million for funding ventures in India, reports the Tech Talk Blog. The VC Fund is looking at early and mid-stage funding, and had recently funded online travel company FlightRaja, now called Via. NEA IndoUS Ventures has been floated by Vinod Dham and Vani Kola in association with New Enterprise Associates, a US venture fund. Earlier this year Kumar Shiralagi, head of Intel Capital in India had joined NEA-IndoUS as General Partner.
VCCircle adds that raising $189 million for investment in India puts NEA-IndoUS in the top league of funds in India, alongwith Sequoia Capital India, Helion Venture, Matrix Partners India and Nexus India Capital.
