NDTV will soon launch the Hindi version of its WAP portal, NDTV Active, said Sanjay Trehan, the outgoing CEO of the broadcaster’s convergence division. “We are in advanced stages of beta testing and we should be able to go live in two weeks,” he said. NDTV had recently unveiled the redesigned NDTV.com, which was developed with the support of NBC Universal’s digital properties team. The Hindi portal has been developed by Los Angeles-based July Systems, which had also developed NDTV Active. In the language space, NDTV also has NDTVkhabar.com. “It’ll be a full service portal, with multiple channels such as news and entertainment,” Trehan added.
