Mohit Anand To Join As Head Of Channel [V]
Mohit Anand, formerly the Country Manager For Microsofts Entertainment & Devices Division will be joining Channel [V] as General Manager for Channel [V], from the 21st of April, reports Indiantelevision.com. It’ll be interesting to see if Anands time in the gaming business (he was with MS for eights years), and his understanding of the youth online have an impact on the music channel. To his credit, Anand has had a community approach to gaming - he’s braved the Indian gamer community online on various forums, reportedly using the moniker AquarianIceman. Of course, we have very little idea of how the xBox 360 has done in India, since MS refuses to release stats. By the bye, does anyone remember the old vindia.com?
We’d done an interview with Anand after he had resigned from Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT). Last month, Amar K Deb, head of Channel [V] had put in his papers, and announced plans to launch a content selling portal.
