Mauj, the People Groups mobile value added services company, has released mobile content around the film Dus Kahaniyan, as a part of its ongoing deal with Eros Multimedia, which involved a minimum guarantee. Mauj has made available ringtones, video ringtones, wallpapers, themes, and animation. Dus Kahaniyan is a Bollywood with 10 short films, two of which - Zahir and Matriomony - were premiered at the 3GSM World Congress last year, as a part of the Mobile Bollywood Initiative, from the GSMA, Hungama Mobile and Roamware. I thought there would be mobisodes based on Dus Kahaniyan as well, but apparently not. For all the talk around video for mobile, “snack sized video content”, not much made-for-mobile video content has been launched in 2007.
