Juice Wireless, an LA based mobile social networking co, has announced plans to launch its JuiceCaster service in India in Q3 of 2008. The service allows users to create and consume rich media content on the mobile, as well as share content on Blogger and social media sites like MySpace, Facebook and Orkut. The company will open an office in Mumbai, and is currently in active discussions with the Indian operators regarding on-deck launch plans. Juice Wireless recently raised a $6 million third round led by previous backer 21Ventures. It has previously raised $11 million in venture and strategic funding from 21Ventures, Qualcomm (NSDQ: QCOM) and Citizen’s Communications.
