The proliferation of ad-networks in India continues: MIH owned Ibibo Web Pvt Ltd, which has largely focused on the social media space until now, is now entering the rather crowded ad networks space with a network called AdWinks, ContentSutra has learned. Ashish Kashyap, CEO of Ibibo confirmed this, but added that they are still evaluating the market and are not ready for a launch yet. He said that there are gaps in the market, and they’re considering 5-6 ideas but nothing has been firmed up yet. Kashyap did not say whether it’s a vertical ad network, a social media ad network or even a general one.
