All 42 Indian Airlines planes being supplied by Airbus June onwards will have an additional DVD channel, reports the Times of India. The channels will feature regional language movies, depending on the sector, as well as Hindi, English, Music, Lifestyle and Humour content. Readers will remember that Kingfisher had announced a tie-up with Dish TV for live in-flight TV content, starting Jan 1 2007 - not sure if that has been implemented yet, but Indian Airlines has also asked Airbus for information on the same.
