Hungama Mobile To Put Dynamic Ads Around Mobile Content
Hungama Mobile is expanding its services to include interactive ads that can be dynamically inserted into mobile content and applications, including video, music, games, SMS and MMS’, as per a release. This will allow the company to subsidize content. Hungama Mobile MD & CEO Neeraj Roy believes that the tie-up will allow enhance the consumption of mobile content. Hungama currently provides mobile advertising solutions to around 100 brands including McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, Citibank, Apple. For the advertising services, the company has collaboratted with Amobee Media Systems.
Now dynamic advertising would require GPRS connectivity, and why should I as a user pay for advertising delivered to me via GPRS?

Ad supported mobile content has a tremendous future in the whole of Asia where, consumers are price conscious and they will not mind receiving subsidised/free content for viewing a few ads.
Similar to Amobee, Hungama deal, another ad network company AOL’s subsidiary Third Screen Media (http://www.thirdscreenmedia.com) has tied up with Mobile Gaming Social Network (http://www.HOVR.com) to provide mobile adverts in their games.
