The Hindu is finally joining some of its media peers in the shopping business. The newspaper company launched shopping website, its shopping Web site powered by Indiaplaza.in. Items on the site include books, music, movies, mobile phones, gadgets, kitchen applications, handicrafts. Unlike Rediff, Hindu’s online store does not seem to have the cash on delivery option and payments are largely to be made via credit cards.
