We’d told you about Google investing in Seed Fund last month. Now the Economic Times, quoting an official release, reports that Google has also invested in Erasmic Venture Fund. The amount of investment in either fund remains undisclosed.
Erasmic is a Bangalore based early stage venture fund that has made two investments: SEO and Marketing services company Position2 and travel information portal India Resorts Survey (now called Holiday IQ). Apparently, they’re looking to focus on investing in Bangalore based companies. Sramana Mitra has a writeup on Erasmic and early stage funds.
