Dainik Bhaskar, Sam Pitroda Joint Venture IITL Launches MeraMobi

India Interactive Technologies Limited (IITL), a joint venture between the Sam Pitroda Group and Dainik Bhaskar, has launched a mobile application titled MeraMobi. The applicaton offers booking of rail and air tickets, making utility bill payments, and providing information to on current affairs, stockmarkets and yellow pages. Others in a similar space include ngpay and Star’s Plus! application, both of which include similar services. Naukri finds a place on the Job Search while the Bhaskar group powers the news, sports and entertainment guides. As per MN, Bhaskar will leverage its regional content offerings and provide content both in Hindi and Gujarati. Bhaskar already has a Hindi website live and the print property, with 18 local editions, competes for top-rank with BCCL’s Navbharat Times.
