Big FM Ties Up With Singapore’s MediaCorp
T’is the season of radio going international. Close on the heels of Virgin Radio’s acquisition by competitor Radio Mirchi, Big FM has tied up with Singapore’s Radio Network MediaCorp to broadcast Bollywood hits in the city state. ET reports an agreement was signed on Tuesday which will see Big FM broadcasting content for three hours on The International Channel FM 96.3 where Big Bollywood will be scheduled between 5pm - 8pm. Indians in Singapore form 9% of the country’s citizens and permanent residents with Wiki pegging the number at 4 lakhs.
