Reliance ADA Group company Big FM has launched podcast services on their website Big927fm.com. Available for listening are clips of interviews and humor from BIG FM RJs. I was expecting some music to be available, but that isn’t the case - probably since digital right are licensed separately from radio rights.

Currently the site had some generic content common across its station sub-sites - like Star Interviews, Humour and Health, and some sites like Bangalore and Bangalore, Mumbai has city specific content, including some local language content. A ‘celeb interview’ section, it appears, is planned for Chennai. They site has RSS feeds for the podcasts, which can also be downloaded via iTunes. Since BIG FM has 33 stations so far, they certainly do have a lot of content that can be put up online.

Also on the site are videos of celebrities at the BIG FM studio and of related events - the content is saved on YouTube. Their experiment with blogs doesn’t appear to have worked out.
