Sabeer Bhatia’s portal Arzoo.com has introduced a “book-a-table’ service for Mumbai, reports Indiantelevision. The company is providing a single number, toll free, table booking service for 750 restaurants in the city, hence alleviating the need for remembering numbers of various restaurants. There are plans to expand the service to other cities as well.

Now, as per the website, the service is free for both restaurants and customers…so where’s the money coming from? From other booking services, it seems. The number remains the same for other Arzoo services like booking flight tickets, hotels, cars etc…people might store the Arzoo number for restaurant booking, and use the number for other services when needed. The website doesn’t allow restaurant booking, though.
