About 43% Low Cost Indian Air Travelers Buy Tickets Online

Nearly 43 percent of low cost Indian air travelers prefer to buy their tickets online versus just 21 percent of full-service carrier travelers, according to a study by aviation consulting Centre For Asia Pacific Aviation. Of the 2000 low cost carrier passengers surveyed throughout airports in India, 48 percent said they used a credit card to purchase their tickets. Just 31 per cent of passengers using full service carriers bought their tickets using a credit card. The article didn’t mention the number of full-service passengers surveyed.
